It Takes Money
by Hobo

Hobo says:  There have been plenty of good songs already written about the topic of money and wealth. So I was maybe a little skeptical about a song titled "It Takes Money" until Paul Jackson sang his original composition at a Hobo rehearsal. Hearing this new take on an old topic, I knew I had to record it. The song is so insightful and prophetic, while being simple and soulful. His vocal makes you appreciate the compounding effect of the abundance or lack of dead presidents. It's worthy of being included in among those great $$$ songs. Paul Jackson, Eric Din, Ben Eastwood, and Tom Pope were Hobo when that track was recorded at Hyde Street Studio by Josh Tobias. Need I say more? - Matthew

She Is A Mystery
pop, rock
I wrote this song 20 years ago! It's one of the better pop rock songs I wrote. Eric helped a lot with the cool Byrds like guitar counter melodies. It's a classic boy tries to figure out girl but can't. Many folks tell me its their favorite of my tunes. -Paul
If It Wasn't For Fire
pop, rock, rock n roll, power pop
I grew up in a Congregationalist Church. Bored, I told the dreaded Sunday School teacher that the Devil and God were best friends. I always daydreamed of running naked down the aisle to the pulpit jumping up like super man and swinging on the cross hanging from the ceiling. - Paul
