About our website:

Our website provides an online service that allows our members to set up unique profiles that can be linked together through networks of friends and favorites. Our website's members can view each others' profiles, communicate with music lovers on the service, discover new artists, share music discoveries, create music playlists, create songcards, post comments, and describe their interests. To enhance our members' experience, we request and display some personal information to other members and visitors, which allows our users to identify each other and expand their network of friends and favorites. Our website's members can change their profile information at any time.

Information we collect and track:

We collect member-submitted account information such as name and email address to identify members and send notifications related to the use of the service. We also collect user-submitted profile information such as gender, age, location, etc. Members may choose to provide additional information beyond their basic profile for their personal profiles.

We also log non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, profile information, aggregate user data, and browser type, from users and visitors to the site. This data is used to manage the website, track usage and improve our website's services.

Member profile information including members' pictures and chosen screen names are displayed to people in order to facilitate user interaction in our music network. Inviting friends:

If you use our Invite feature to invite a friend to our websites, we will ask you for your friend's email address. We'll automatically send the friend an email inviting them to join our music network at www.muzic.com. We do not sell these email addresses or use them to transmit any communication other than the invitation and reminders to join our music network. The friend may contact us at privacy@muzic.com to request the removal of this information from our database.

Links:

Our website allows registered members to publish links to sites. muzic is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other sites. When linking to another site a user should read the privacy policy stated on that site. Our privacy policy applies solely to information collected by our websites.

Editing or removing information:

Our website's users may modify or remove any of their personal information at any time by logging into their account at www.muzic.com and accessing the Account Info feature.

Email choice/opt-out:

Members who no longer wish to receive updates or notifications from any of our websites may choose not to by deselecting the 'Newsletter' field in the user profile Account Info.

Third party advertisers:

Our website may choose to deploy advertising on the service that is delivered to users through a third party's advertising server. Information about users' visits to muzic, such as number of times they have viewed an ad (but no personally identifiable information), would be used to serve ads to users on this site. Third party ad servers may set cookies on the site in order to target ads to users. This information allows an ad network to deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. We do not have access to or control of the cookies that may be placed by the third-party ad servers or ad networks.

This privacy statement covers the use of cookies by our websites and does not cover the use of cookies by any third party advertisers.
