Fun Fun Fun Recordings says: This song truly epitomizes the current Uptones. Written by Eric Din over 20 years ago, "Burning Sky" has as much, if not more, relevance today than then. It seems The Uptones' politics and dedication to Ska were decades ahead of their time. Who knew then? We're just figuring it out now. I can only admire The Uptones for hanging in there for all these years without changing their message or their beat. Getting this song right was very important to continuing the Uptones saga correctly. So, The Uptones slaughtered this one.
