Fun Fun Fun Recordings says: As any crusty power-pop record producer would, I hate to re-record another version of an already recorded and mixed song, but that's exactly what I did 3 times for "Bad Men Of Bodie." Three times I thought we were done, and the song was mixed each time. Then I'd be at the next Uptones show only to hear Eric and Jeanne and the band blow the socks off the version of the song I'd just mixed. Well that old adage was right, "The fourth time is the charm." Plus get this: It was FUN working with The Uptones. It was FUN recording each version of this song about a California ghost town. It was FUN writing this description.
