Bonnie and Clyde
by The UPTONES
pop, rock, reggae/ska, punky ska, gangster, two-tone

Fun Fun Fun Recordings says: I just love this song about the legendary Bonnie and Clyde, written and sung by the Rev. Paul Jackson. It's a truly clever narrative from the ghost of one of their gang. He warns them about an ambush while reminiscing about his life of crime. How deep and cool, this is not your average pop song. We originally recorded the tune with the four piece group Stiff Richards. We all felt the song was screaming out for horns. When The Uptones reformed, "Bonnie and Clyde" was one of the first songs they worked up. We were right, the horns add tons to the composition. Bonnie and Clyde has become a solid song in the Uptones live show.
