Fun Fun Fun Recordings says: You may recognize the tune, it's been recorded by several other bands besides being a staple in the Uptones set. This song from The Uptones Live recording has been downloaded over a million times, and I wasn't going to produce a version inferior to that classic. But when I heard the current band perform "Get Out Of My Way" at a show, I knew we could top the live recording. There are so many killer lyrics to get right. Eric Din, the song's co-writer nailed the vocal, and the band did their thing. It's not just about The Uptones reforming, it's about The Uptones getting it right. They really got this song right.
