white feather electronic Dark ambient song with sweeping chords drifting in, out, and around each other. Produced with V Station, X Station and Korg ESX drum machine.
techno in the dark electronic, techno, weird beats-based sound played live on korg electribe (esx1) and Ableton Live (triggered samples) with a bit of post production. Beats and atmospheric soundscape with some voice samples twisted by various effects.
blueman jam electronic, techno, beats, instrumental I played this live on a Korg Electribe ESX1 and Novation X Station. You can also see my video of this (just me playing it, nothing exciting) and some different songs on www.youtube/bluemanontelly (click the songcard picture)
somesamples electronic, other just a load of samples + V station, Unknown64 and Electrribe beats. Seems like cheating really, only took a few hours to put together.
Gone Wobbly electronic, wobbly What I said when first posted: "a nice shot of me working in my home studio". What I say now: "i'll need to listen to this again, but as far as I remember it's an ok song".
No boyfriend, no life electronic, other, kinda housy probably What I said when originally posted: "Gotta call it something. It's a house-style song, with female vocals and hard kick drum. Mainly Korg Legacy Cell and Pentagon I sounds." What I say now: "I like this song but it goes on too long, and takes quite a while to start. Plus there's too much compression on the kick drum in the final instrumental section so it sounds a bit wrong there. Was pleased it got a comment on MP34U, nice to get some feedback."
Back in the Day electronic What I said when originally posted: "Another C64-inspired song. You can tell I was a child of the 80s. It's supposed to express the bitter-sweet emotions I feel when I look back to my childhood days. Bitter because i'm old now." What I say now: "the beat needs to be thicker, maybe redone entirely. I still like some of the song though."
The God Song electronic What I said when first posted: "Don't expect to hear it on Christian radio though..." What I say now: "haha, funny comment. This was an experiment in 1 or 2 things and I think it turned out fairly well."
echoes electronic What I said when first posted: "nice and spacious." What I say now: "it could benefit from a bit more variety, some interesting sounds weaving into the texture, maybe i'll have another look one day as i still like it".
Hubbard Hard-Style electronic, other, ambient, industrial, (well, not industrial but hard distorted beats) What I said when first posted: "Simple hard beats, a few Rob Hubbard and C64-inspired sounds." What I say now: "very quick to write, very simple song. I like it."
